Separate WARDOGS facts from PixelPulse plans
BULKHEAD develops WARDOGS and Team17 publishes it. Their official pages are the authority for game features, release timing, platforms and playtests.
PixelPulse is an independent player community. PixelPulse is the authority only for its own planned server, Discord, community rules, events and moderation. A PixelPulse announcement must not be presented as an official WARDOGS announcement.
Check information before sharing it
- Open the original post, video or store page instead of relying on a screenshot or repost.
- Check the publication date and look for a newer official statement.
- Separate currently available, demonstrated in pre-alpha and planned for Early Access.
- Keep exact status words such as planned, closed pre-alpha, coming soon and Early Access.
- Do not turn a developer goal into a launch-day guarantee.
- Link the original source near the claim.
Source hierarchy
For stable product facts, prefer the current Steam store and Team17. For design detail, use BULKHEAD's full videos and official Steam announcements. X is useful for dated test notices and short updates, but image statistics need their date and test scope preserved.
Community posts, creator impressions and forum discussions can show player opinion. They are not proof of a release date, final feature or server instruction.
Common warning signs
Be cautious when a post:
- Offers guaranteed pre-alpha access.
- Publishes connection commands before server documentation exists.
- Gives a precise release date absent from Steam, Team17 or an official WARDOGS announcement.
- Describes a pre-alpha value as permanent.
- Calls PixelPulse an official WARDOGS community.
- Treats a planned console version or community server as already available.
